AOL caches
or stores web pages on their own servers to speed up internet
access for their millions of customers. But when you, the AOL
user, click on a web page, you are unaware that you are actually
seeing a stored page on the AOL server and not
a "live" web page.
When you try to click
to a secure link on that stored page (such as our online membership
directory or our join pages) you hit a wall, because these pages
cannot be cached or stored.
To solve this
problem: Try using a non-AOL browser, like Internet Explorer or
Netscape where you can easily clear the cache or try the following
steps below.

HINT:
TO
ENSURE THAT YOUR BROWSER PERFORMS EFFECIENTLY, REPEAT STEP 2 ON A REGULAR
BASIS. MY RECCOMENDATION IS AFTER EACH TIME YOU BROWSE THE INTERNET. STEPS
1 & 3 DO NOT NEED TO BE REPEATED AFTER THE FIRST TIME COMPLETED.
